  • ATTACh This is an organization that has dedicated itself to education professionals and parents of children with  attachment and adoption issues. 

  • Beyond Consequences Institute Great source for newsletters, CD’s DVD’s and books  on parenting a child who has been traumatized by chronic neglect and/or abuse. 

  • FAIR Great resources and support for adoptive and preadoptive families.

  • Mindsight Institute Source of books, CD's, and DVD's helping parents reflecting on their own childhood in order to  become more responsive parents.

  • Resolve of Northern California The Northern California branch holds one or two conferences each year about  adoption and issues related to infertility. They are a good resource if you are thinking of adopting.

  • PACT Comprehensive information of everything related to adoption.

  • Families with Children from China (FCC) Provides information for families who have adopted, or are in the process  of adopting, a child from China.

The UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center has a web page of free mindfulness mediations to download and try. A great place to start or try new things      

 The American Mindfulness Research Association  that brings together the latest research in Mindfulness.

With sections on how to be mindful at work, at home, and in your life. It has wonderful how-to’s on mindfulness practice and articles from the thought leaders in the field.
